Information We Collect
When you submit our vacation inquiry form, we request your name, email address, optional telephone number, vacation type, preferred destination and travel dates, departure location, number of travelers, approximate total trip budget, preferred contact method, travel style, prior cruise or resort experience, special occasions (if provided), trip notes, and how you heard about us.
How We Use Inquiry Information
We use the information you submit to review your request, communicate with you about your specific vacation, and help research suitable travel arrangements. Submitting an inquiry does not subscribe you to marketing emails.
Travel Suppliers and Service Providers
If you proceed with travel planning, information needed to request quotes or arrange services may be shared with Atlas Coast Travel Group and relevant travel suppliers or approved service providers. Total Getaway Travel is affiliated with Atlas Coast Travel Group. Information necessary for travel planning or booking may be shared with Atlas Coast Travel Group and relevant travel suppliers or service providers when appropriate to your inquiry or authorized travel arrangements.
Website and Form Services
The site runs on WordPress, hosted with Namecheap, and uses Fluent Forms to process inquiry submissions. Website security, consent, and analytics plugins may process technical information necessary to operate the site. We use a cookie-consent tool to provide choices about nonessential website technologies. Certain necessary cookies may be used to operate the site; analytics and other optional technologies depend on their configuration and your consent choices.
Storage, Retention, and Your Choices
Inquiry submissions may be stored within the website’s form system and delivered to our business email address. If an inquiry does not result in a booking, our policy is to retain the inquiry information in WordPress/Fluent Forms and related business email for up to 12 months after the last meaningful interaction, then delete or anonymize it unless a legal obligation, security need, or active dispute requires longer retention. Records associated with actual bookings may need to be kept longer under applicable legal, accounting, supplier, and Atlas Coast Travel Group requirements. You may contact Richard@totalgetaway.travel to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information, subject to applicable retention obligations. Deletion and anonymization may be performed through periodic administrative review rather than automatically at the 12-month date.
Sensitive Information
Do not submit payment card numbers, passport information, medical records, or other sensitive documents through the inquiry form.
